Submitting a News Tip
If you're sending a tip, including the following helps us review it more quickly:
- A brief description of the issue or story
- Links, documents, or sources we should review
- How to reach you for follow-up (optional — anonymous tips are welcome)
- Any deadline sensitivity we should know about
Please use email rather than social media for tips. Email lets us keep a proper paper trail and respond privately if needed.
Requesting a Correction
If you've spotted a factual error in our coverage, we want to know. Email us at info@thecanadareport.ca with the subject line Correction Request, and include:
- A link to the article
- A description of the issue
- Any sources or evidence that support the correction
We aim to acknowledge correction requests within two business days. See our Corrections Policy for the full process, including how we handle different kinds of changes.
About Our Responses
The Canada Report is a small independent operation. Due to volume, we may not be able to respond to every message individually — but all tips, corrections, accessibility requests, and partnership inquiries are reviewed by a human.
We don't use AI to triage or respond to reader messages. Every email gets human attention.
