Every gift on this list is **made in Canada and sold on Amazon.ca**, from single-forest maple syrup out of the Gaspé to a cutting board handmade in Cape Breton. Prices run from about $9 to $241.

You know the person. They live in Saskatoon or Sudbury or Surrey, they own three toques and a Tim's gift card, and they're impossible to shop for. Or they moved to London years ago and still talk about Coffee Crisp like it's a lost relative. Either way, a gift that's actually from here lands differently, and more Canadians are looking for one: in an Angus Reid survey for Purdys last holiday season, 60% said they actively seek out Canadian-made options. With the [Canada–U.S. trade fight](https://www.thecanadareport.ca/carney-us-trade-talks/) still shaping what lands on our shelves, that number isn't going down.

We rounded up 17 picks based on where they're made, price, and what buyers say in their reviews. Every one passed the same test, explained below, so you won't find a "Canadian" souvenir that turns out to ship from overseas.

## Our 17 Picks at a Glance

Prices are Amazon.ca listings as of October 27, 2026, and they move around in November.

| Gift | Best For | Made In | Price |

## How We Checked That It's Made in Canada

A product made this list only if its Amazon.ca listing either names Canada as the country of origin, or states that it's made, handmade or roasted in Canada by a company with a Canadian address. A maple leaf on the box wasn't enough.

That test cut some favourites. Trivial Pursuit was invented in Montreal in 1979, but today's boxes are made in the U.S. DAVIDsTEA is a Montreal company, but the sampler we looked at lists Morocco as its country of origin. Both are great gifts; they just aren't made here.

One more thing worth knowing: under federal guidelines, "Made in Canada" doesn't mean every ingredient is Canadian. Coffee beans and cocoa don't grow here, so our coffee and chocolate picks are made in Canada from imported ingredients. More on the rules in the FAQ.

## A Taste of Home

Edible gifts are the safest bet on any list: nobody needs another mug, but everybody eats. These eight travel well, keep through the holidays, and are hard to find outside the country.

### 1\. Escuminac Extra Rare Amber Maple Syrup

![Escuminac Extra Rare amber maple syrup in a 500 ml glass bottle](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/escuminac-extra-rare-maple-syrup.jpg)

**Made in:** Gaspé Peninsula, QC · **Price:** $30.95 for 500 ml · **Rating:** 4.7 stars from 2,483 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01N5Y20XD?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

This isn't the jug from the grocery store. Escuminac is a family sugar bush on the Baie-des-Chaleurs run by third-generation producer Martin Malenfant since 1998, and every bottle comes from that one forest, unblended and certified organic. Extra Rare is tapped from the first run of the season, so it's light in colour and delicate in flavour; buyers describe it as the syrup that ruined cheap syrup for them.

**Good to know:** For stockings, the [12 × 50 ml mini-bottle pack](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B075Q4BQR8?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca) ($57.95) splits nicely across a family. And stock up while you can: Quebec's [strategic maple syrup reserve is on track to run dry by February 2027](https://www.thecanadareport.ca/quebec-maple-syrup-reserve/).

### 2\. Biodélices Organic Maple Butter

![Biodélices organic maple butter in a 250 ml glass jar](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/biodelices-organic-maple-butter.jpg)

**Made in:** Thetford Mines, QC · **Price:** $19.99 for 250 ml · **Rating:** 4.6 stars from 166 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CN3SXYSK?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Maple butter has nothing in it but maple syrup, heated and whipped until it turns spreadable and creamy. This one is organic, single-ingredient, and currently Amazon.ca's top-selling maple butter. On toast, pancakes or a warm croissant, it's the gift people end up rationing.

**Good to know:** The jar is smaller than it looks in photos, and reviewers say a little goes a long way. Keep it in the fridge once opened.

### 3\. Little Quebec Sugar Shack Maple Cookies

![Little Quebec Sugar Shack maple cookies in a vintage-style gift tin](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/little-quebec-sugar-shack-maple-cookies-tin.jpg)

**Made in:** Quebec · **Price:** $26.95 for 24 cookies · **Rating:** 4.5 stars from 120 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0FJJKCMW2?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Two dozen crisp maple cookies baked in Quebec with real maple syrup, packed in a vintage-style tin that outlives the cookies. It's an easy gift for a teacher, a neighbour or the office exchange, and it looks good without any wrapping.

**Good to know:** You're paying partly for the tin. Reviewers who bought it as a gift call it worth it; a few say it's pricey for what's inside.

### 4\. Nestlé Turtles Holiday Box

![Nestlé Turtles 350 g holiday chocolate box](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/nestle-turtles-holiday-box.jpg)

**Made in:** Canada · **Price:** $15.27 for 350 g · **Rating:** 4.6 stars from 4,271 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B073TZWBSQ?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

For a lot of Canadian families, it isn't Christmas until someone opens the Turtles. The pecan-caramel-chocolate clusters are prepared in Canada, and the 350 g holiday box is the classic size for a host gift or a coffee table on Boxing Day.

**Good to know:** Turtles contain pecans, so skip them for anyone with a nut allergy. Nestlé Canada is a subsidiary of Swiss-owned Nestlé; the chocolates themselves are made here.

### 5\. Coffee Crisp, Aero, Smarties and KitKat Box

![Box of full-size Coffee Crisp, Aero, KitKat bars and Smarties](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/coffee-crisp-aero-smarties-kitkat-box.jpg)

**Made in:** Canada · **Price:** $22.99 for 14 full-size bars and boxes · **Rating:** 4.7 stars from 4,774 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08CSDRB6H?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

This is the care package for the Canadian who moved away. The box holds four Coffee Crisps, four Aeros, four KitKats and two boxes of Smarties, all prepared in Canada. Coffee Crisp is hard to find outside the country, and Canadian Smarties are candy-coated chocolate, not the chalky tablets Americans know by that name.

**Good to know:** All 14 pieces are individually wrapped, so it's easy to split across stockings.

### 6\. Laura Secord Chocolate Fudge

![Laura Secord individually wrapped chocolate fudge, 180 g box](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/laura-secord-chocolate-fudge.jpg)

**Made in:** Canada · **Price:** $9.36 for 180 g · **Rating:** 4.1 stars from 1,427 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0FQCLNTMB?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Laura Secord opened its first shop on Toronto's Yonge Street in 1913, and it's been back in Canadian hands since 2010\. This box of individually wrapped fudge is the cheapest pick on our list and a perfect stocking stuffer.

**Good to know:** It's gluten-free and peanut- and tree-nut-free, which makes it a safer choice for school and office exchanges than Turtles.

### 7\. Kicking Horse Coffee Three Sisters

![Kicking Horse Coffee Three Sisters medium roast ground coffee, 708 g bag](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/kicking-horse-three-sisters-coffee.jpg)

**Made in:** Invermere, BC · **Price:** $36.99 for 708 g ground · **Rating:** 4.6 stars from 7,235 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0DBZZGCMC?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Kicking Horse has roasted coffee in Invermere, in the Columbia Valley, since 1996\. Three Sisters is its organic, Fairtrade medium roast, and the 708 g bag is big enough to feel like a proper gift. It's one of the most-reviewed coffees on Amazon.ca.

**Good to know:** Italy's Lavazza has owned a majority stake since 2017, but the roasting still happens in Invermere. For a smaller stocking gift, the [Kick Ass dark roast](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00M31BORM?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca) comes in a $15 bag.

### 8\. West Coast Select Sockeye Salmon Cedar Box

![West Coast Select smoked sockeye salmon in a cedar gift box](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/west-coast-select-sockeye-salmon-cedar-box.jpg)

**Made in:** Canada · **Price:** $29.99 · **Rating:** 4.3 stars from 21 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B074WFRC83?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Wild Canadian sockeye, smoked and sealed in a shelf-stable pouch inside a cedar keepsake box. It needs no fridge until it's opened, so it can sit under the tree with everything else. One buyer gave it to a smoked-salmon-loving friend for Christmas and said the box was half the gift.

**Good to know:** The listing is upfront that the texture is closer to premium canned salmon than to deli-style lox. Larger boxes run $39.99 and $64.99\. It has only 21 reviews, so there's less buyer feedback here than for most picks on this list.

## Cozy and Wearable

These four come from Canadian mills and workshops that have been dressing people for our winters for decades, in two cases for more than a century.

### 9\. Stanfield's 1315 Wool Henley

![Stanfield's 1315 wool henley sweater in charcoal](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/stanfields-1315-wool-henley.jpg)

**Made in:** Truro, NS · **Price:** $123.98 · **Rating:** 4.6 stars from 198 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0833BMTLV?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Stanfield's has been making clothes in its Truro mill since 1856, and the wool henley is the one Canadians' grandfathers wore to the woodpile. Reviewers say it's lighter than two hoodies but warmer, with long sleeves that actually cover the wrists. One says her husband wears his every day working in the bush in the B.C. mountains.

**Good to know:** One reviewer found it ran bigger than their usual size, so check the size chart. Another throws it in the washer and dryer with no trouble.

### 10\. Laurentian Chief Leather Moccasins

![Laurentian Chief men's leather moccasin slippers](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/laurentian-chief-leather-moccasins.jpg)

**Made in:** Quebec City · **Price:** $109.90 · **Rating:** 4.7 stars from 436 reviews (men's), 592 reviews (women's)

Eugene Cloutier Inc. has made Laurentian Chief moccasins in Quebec City since 1945, handcrafted from leather and inspired by traditional First Nations footwear. The [men's slippers](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0C6LMH1RP?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca) have soft leather soles; the [women's style](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00RDJ6XTI?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca) adds a fur trim, beadwork and fleece lining. One reviewer says they've worn the brand daily for 37 years.

**Good to know:** The soft-sole versions are indoor-only. If they'll be worn to the mailbox or on the deck, pick a style with a rubber sole.

### 11\. J.B. Field's Hiker GX Merino Socks

J.B. Field's started out supplying the logging industry in 1877 and still makes all of its socks in Canada. The Hiker GX is 74% merino with arch support and a cushioned sole, and one reviewer has worn the same model for 25 years. It's the kind of gift that gets used every single day from November to April.

**Good to know:** For truly brutal cold, J.B. Field's also makes sock lines rated to -30, -40 and -50\. We rounded up more options in our guide to the [best socks for winter boots in Canada](https://www.thecanadareport.ca/best-socks-for-winter-boots-canada/).

### 12\. Watson Gloves The Duke

![Watson Gloves The Duke deerskin leather gloves with short cuff](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/watson-gloves-the-duke-deerskin.jpg)

**Made in:** Canada · **Price:** $84.95 · **Rating:** 4.6 stars from 18 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B092FYL65S?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Watson Gloves started in 1918 selling hand-crafted gloves to Vancouver's dock workers, and it's now based in Burnaby. The Duke is a soft deerskin glove with a short slip-on cuff, made in Canada. Buyers say it needed almost no breaking in and fits close.

**Good to know:** This version is unlined, so it's a fall-and-spring glove, not a January-in-Winnipeg glove; Watson makes a lined winter Duke too. With only 18 reviews, there's less buyer feedback here than for most picks.

## Games for Boxing Day

The week between Christmas and New Year's is made for games, and both of these are as Canadian as it gets.

### 13\. Crokinole Canada Gold Standard Board

![Crokinole Canada Gold Standard octagonal crokinole board with maple surface](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/crokinole-canada-gold-standard-board.jpg)

**Made in:** Canada · **Price:** $230.00 · **Rating:** 4.9 stars from 54 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0824BFYPT?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Crokinole is ours: the earliest known board was made by Eckhardt Wettlaufer in Perth County, Ontario, in 1876, and the World Crokinole Championship is still held in Tavistock. Crokinole Canada, a family business in St. Marys, Ontario, has its boards built by Canadian workshops. The Gold Standard has a maple playing surface, ash rails, scoring numbers on the front and a checkerboard on the back, plus 26 discs, a pouch and sliding powder. Reviewers praise the solid hardwood build, and one says the family has played every day since it arrived.

**Good to know:** Crokinole Canada notes the wood surface is sometimes patched with an oval insert, which doesn't affect play. Cheaper boards on Amazon.ca run about $95–$110, but we couldn't confirm any of them are made in Canada.

### 14\. Linwood 7-Piece Mini-Stick Hockey Set

![Linwood seven-piece mini-stick hockey set with goalie sticks and ball](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/linwood-mini-stick-hockey-set.jpg)

**Made in:** Wallenstein, ON · **Price:** $24.57 · **Rating:** 4.5 stars from 509 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01LYN6CCN?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

If you grew up in Canada, you probably played mini-sticks in a hallway or basement. This set from Freeman Industries in Wallenstein, Ontario, includes four player sticks, two goalie sticks and a soft ball, enough for a proper three-on-three. It's the top seller in toy hockey on Amazon.ca.

**Good to know:** Buyers say the hard plastic blades can be curved, and the sticks hold up to kids playing constantly, though one reviewer is clear they're not indestructible.

## For the Kitchen and Home

Three gifts for the person whose home is their happy place, from a Cape Breton woodshop and two small studios in Montreal and Toronto.

### 15\. Larch Wood One Hander Cutting Board

![Larch Wood Canada end-grain One Hander cutting board](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/larch-wood-one-hander-cutting-board.jpg)

**Made in:** Margaree, NS · **Price:** $241.46 · **Rating:** 4.7 stars from 35 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CY8VG43X?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Larch Wood Canada handmakes end-grain cutting boards in Margaree, on Cape Breton Island, from eastern Canadian larch. End grain is easy on knife edges and shows its checkerboard pattern on the counter, which is why serious cooks covet these. The One Hander Large is 15 by 9½ inches and about 2 kg, light enough to carry to the table as a cheese board, with rubber feet so it doesn't slide.

**Good to know:** It's hand-wash only and needs a coat of board oil now and then. The Standard Line shows more knots and colour variation, from pink to grey, which some people love and some don't.

### 16\. L'Olivier Naturals Lavender Soap (4-Pack)

![L'Olivier Naturals handmade lavender and shea butter soap bars](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/lolivier-naturals-lavender-soap.jpg)

**Made in:** Montreal · **Price:** $25.95 for four bars · **Rating:** 4.6 stars from 184 reviews · [See it on Amazon.ca](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CR6XRV3J?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca)

Handmade in Montreal by a small soap maker founded in 2018, these lavender and shea butter bars have real lavender pressed into them. Reviewers say the scent is pleasant without being overpowering and the bars leave skin soft. Four bars split nicely into four small gifts.

**Good to know:** For something cheaper and more mildly scented, [Snowies bar soap](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0GCYJLPTW?tag=thecanadarepo-20&ref=thecanadareport.ca) from Ottawa is a six-bar pack for $13.98.

### 17\. aftermodern Unscented Soy Candle

![aftermodern unscented soy candle in a lidded glass jar](https://storage.ghost.io/c/65/8b/658bb4e9-9316-49de-aa33-8d03ee59bdfd/content/images/2026/10/aftermodern-unscented-soy-candle.jpg)

Hand-poured in a Toronto studio from 100% soy wax, this 8 oz candle is rated for 45 to 50 hours of burn time, a figure the maker says was checked by an independent lab. The unscented version is the clever part: it's the rare candle you can give to someone with scent sensitivities, a baby at home or a pet with breathing issues.

**Good to know:** It comes in a lidded glass jar, and aftermodern makes scented versions too if your person loves a fragrance.

## Sending a Canadian Gift Across the Country or Abroad

Order early: most Amazon.ca orders ship only to Canadian addresses, so a gift for someone overseas usually means buying it here and mailing it yourself.

- **Within Canada:** Canada Post hadn't posted its 2026 holiday dates as of late October. In recent years, the national Regular Parcel cutoff has fallen around December 10, with Priority running to about December 20\. Check Canada Post's site once the 2026 dates are out.
- **To the U.S. and overseas:** International cutoffs come earlier, with some regions closing in the first week of December.
- **Food across the border:** Sealed, shop-bought items like maple syrup, chocolate, cookies and roasted coffee travel best. Fish and meat face stricter rules in many countries, so check the destination's customs rules before you mail the salmon, and declare all food on the customs form.
- **Glass and the cold:** Wrap syrup bottles well. A cracked bottle of single-forest syrup is a sad thing to unpack.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What's the most Canadian gift you can give?

Pure maple syrup is the classic answer, and a single-forest Quebec syrup like Escuminac is a step up from the grocery store bottle. For a gift that lasts, a crokinole board is hard to beat: the game was born in Ontario in the 1870s and still has its world championship there.

### What's the difference between "Made in Canada" and "Product of Canada"?

Under Competition Bureau guidelines, "Product of Canada" means at least 98% of the product's total direct costs were incurred in Canada. "Made in Canada" needs at least 51%, with the last substantial transformation happening here, and it should carry a qualifier such as "with imported ingredients." That's why coffee and chocolate can be made in Canada even though the beans grow elsewhere. Food claims are also overseen by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

### Are all of these gifts from Canadian-owned companies?

No, and we'd rather tell you. Every pick is made in Canada, but Turtles and the Coffee Crisp box come from Nestlé Canada, part of Swiss-owned Nestlé, and Kicking Horse Coffee has been majority-owned by Italy's Lavazza since 2017\. Laura Secord, by contrast, has been back in Canadian hands since 2010.

### What are good Canadian stocking stuffers under $25?

Laura Secord fudge ($9.36), Turtles ($15.27), Biodélices maple butter ($19.99), the Coffee Crisp and Smarties box ($22.99) and Linwood mini-sticks ($24.57) all come in under $25 at current Amazon.ca prices.

### When should I order Canadian Christmas gifts?

By late November if you can. Amazon.ca prices shift around Black Friday, and Canada Post's national Regular Parcel cutoff has landed around December 10 in recent years, with international cutoffs earlier still.
